These Terms of Service govern your use of this subtitle editor and export platform (the “Service”). By creating an account, uploading files, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must promptly report unauthorized account access.

2. Your Content and Rights

• You retain ownership of uploaded videos, subtitle text, and output files.
• You grant the Service a limited license to process your content only to provide requested features (transcription, preview, export, storage, and retrieval).
• You confirm you have all rights required to upload and process your media and any uploaded font files.

3. Acceptable Use

• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or abusive content.
• Do not attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Do not use the Service to interfere with platform stability or other users.

4. Fonts and Licensing

• Bundled fonts and their licenses are listed on /legal/fonts.
• For custom uploads, you are solely responsible for verifying redistribution and usage rights.

5. Service Availability

• The Service may change, be suspended, or be interrupted for maintenance, security, or infrastructure reasons.
• Automated transcription and subtitle generation may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing final outputs.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

• Paid plans are billed in advance on the recurring schedule shown at checkout.
• If a third-party payment processor or Merchant of Record handles checkout, that provider may process payment details, taxes, receipts, subscription management, refunds, and payment support under its own buyer terms.
• If the checkout page identifies a Merchant of Record or online reseller, that provider is responsible for charging you for the order and may handle payment-related support, taxes, returns, and refunds for that transaction.
• Subscription cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
• Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy, except where mandatory law gives you additional rights.

7. Disclaimer and Liability

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, revenue, or profits.

8. Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for Terms violations, legal requirements, security reasons, or abuse. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
